Apex External setup

Prepare the External loader and Discord overlay, then test your settings in the Firing Range.

Apex External runs on the gaming PC. It uses the External loader and Discord's legacy overlay, not a DMA card or second PC.

First load#

1. Check Apex External on Status.
2. Close Apex and its anti-cheat.
3. Open Discord desktop and follow External loader setup.
4. Sign in to the External loader, select Apex External, and load once.
5. Open Apex when the loader shows Setup complete and asks you to launch it.
6. Wait for the Discord overlay step to finish, then enter the Firing Range.

Leave Apex closed while the loader prepares a fresh load. When reconnecting after an earlier successful load, follow the loader's reconnect message.

Set up the ESP#

Check enemies first, then teammates and bots. Test it in the Firing Range at your game resolution before saving.

Turn on the labels you use rather than everything at once. If players or items are missing, check their category and filters before assuming the overlay failed.

Save your settings#

Use Apex External's config menu. Its files belong on the gaming PC and are separate from Apex DMA configs. Keep a working copy before trying someone else's settings.

If loading stops#

A Discord overlay message is not an ESP filter problem. Use External loader setup for the exact Discord switches and restart steps.

If an update paused the cheat, wait for Status to change. Otherwise save the first error and follow the support checklist.
