External loader setup

Start with the game closed, prepare Discord's legacy overlay, then launch when the loader tells you.

The External loader runs on your 64-bit Windows gaming PC. Discord desktop must be running with its legacy in-game overlay enabled. Linking Discord in your Limitless account is separate from this overlay setup.

Before the first load#

• Use the current External Loader from Downloads and an active External license.
• Close the game and let its anti-cheat finish closing before a fresh load.
• Open Discord desktop. A browser tab is not the desktop app.
• In Discord's overlay settings, set Enable overlay to OFF, Enable legacy overlay to ON, and the game's own overlay toggle to ON.
• Check the cheat on Status.

Load, then open the game#

1. Open the External loader and sign in.
2. Select the game and its license, then load once.
3. Leave the game closed while the loader prepares it.
4. When the loader says Setup complete and asks you to open the game, launch it.
5. Wait while it detects the game and Discord overlay. Do not restart the game during that step.

A later load can reconnect to an already-running game when the required runtime is present. Do not use that reconnect path as the first-load order; follow the loader's message.

Common messages#

• Open Discord before launching: start the desktop app and retry.
• A game or Easy Anti-Cheat opened during deployment: close them and restart the fresh-load flow.
• Waiting for the game: setup is ready; open the selected game now.
• Discord overlay unavailable: check the three switches above, restart Discord and the game as instructed, then relaunch the loader.
• Launch timeout: run the loader again when ready to play.

Use Rust External or Apex External for game settings. Keep the exact error for support.
